Time Marches On…

As of last week, I am no longer at Rackspace. It was a great 5 year run, and I look back on them fondly. I made a ton of great friends, and learned so much. But, it’s time to move on…

I’ve gotten a ton of support from everyone, and that has really helped. Thanks a lot.I’m not sure what’s next for me. I’m still weighing my options. You can always reach out to me on Twitter, LinkedIn, or email me at, (replace firstname with my first name) if you have suggestions on what I should do next. Getting out of the IT field at working at Wendy’s is a valid suggestion, and one I’ve received multiple times during my career. Smile

I do have good news. The Podcast will continue. You’re not getting rid of Shane and I that easily. I will also be sullying the stage at SPTechCon in Austin in April. If you’re there, stop in and say, “howdy.” Also feel free to offer to buy my lunch, or give me some gas money.

Keep the faith.  Pursue the vision.

The words above are something an old friend of mine has said in the past.  I have said a prayer things work out well (consider it "thinking good thoughts" if you're not religious).

Keep us posted as to where you land.

Corporate Sucks

I totally feel where you are coming from. Sometimes the only way you can succeed is if you start your own venture. There is too much work out there and not enough SP gurus. I venture to say that people are coming down from the cloud more than they are moving up.

Just my 2 cents.

Also, Kanwan Ripple is looking for someone like you.
