Netcast #15 – Do Over

In this week's netcast I talk about the June CU and the LSASS loopback checker as well as why I have no business doing Internet video broadcasts.

Next week's netcast won't be recorded on Monday morning. Right now I'm not 100% sure when it will be. Stay tuned her and on Twitter to find out when I decide to record it.

Netcasts SilverLight Streaming

Hi Todd,
Why you don't try SilverLight streaming for your netcasts, give it a shoot, you can embed the videos on your blog without even touching your bandwidth.
This post is really helpfull: http://blogs.msdn.com/lezamax/archive/2008/01/11/how-to-silverlight-streaming.aspx

Re: Netcasts SilverLight Streaming

Hi Mohamed,
You're right, I need to do something. Camtasia creates the templates for viewing inline, I just haven't started using them yet. That's part of what I want to do with the hoster, once we get the technical issues sorted out.

Enclosures

Hey Todd, we have to finally get your netcast to come down in the RSS Feed! I spent a while getting it right, so I've got some ideas that might help. Feedburner was the best in the check, they can pull the mp3's etc. in directly (plus great stats :->). My podcast is at http://www.TheMossShow.com/, and I link straight to the feed at http://feeds2.feedburner.com/TheMossShow

Otherwise, I'm enjoying the netcast, thanks for the info and the great laughs!

Re: Enclosures

I need to put up better RSS sub links, I agree. I've got the files, I just haven't put out links to them. I'll try to clean that up this weekend.

Enclosures - Multiple Feeds

Can I nag with one more question - if you do get the enclosures working (in my testing, i only got it working on a document library), could you put different feeds together for the various file formats - some of us live in bandwidth-restricted countries :-((.
